Privacy policy

This policy explains how OpenClaw Mail Import handles information from Google accounts authorised by the operator.

1. Scope and operator

OpenClaw Mail Import is a private automation, not a public consumer service. It is operated for bookkeeping administration by the person who authorises the connected Google accounts.

2. Google data accessed

The app requests Gmail read-only access. It may read message metadata, headers, bodies, and attachments from explicitly authorised accounts to identify likely invoices and related documents.

The current permission cannot send, delete, label, archive, or modify Gmail messages.

3. How data is used

Google data is used only to run the operator's bookkeeping workflow: discover candidate documents, prevent duplicate handling, generate operational counts, and flag uncertain items for review.

Google data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or sale. It is not used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

4. Storage and retention

OAuth credentials are kept in the operator's protected local credential store. Operational reports and bookkeeping state may be retained in the operator-controlled environment for as long as needed to complete bookkeeping and avoid duplicate processing.

The public pages on this site do not collect mailbox content and do not provide account sign-in.

5. Sharing

Google data is not sold or shared for advertising. Access is limited to the operator and technical processors strictly necessary to run the authorised workflow, subject to confidentiality and security controls.

6. Google API Limited Use

Use of Google account data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.

7. Security

The app uses least-privilege access, local credential protection, bounded mailbox searches, and operator-controlled storage. No system is risk-free, but access is limited to what the workflow requires.

8. Revocation and deletion

The authorising user can revoke Google access at any time from their Google Account's connected-apps settings. The operator can also remove the stored OAuth credential and delete retained local reports or bookkeeping state on request.

9. Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected on this page before new uses of Google data begin. Privacy questions can be sent to the support email displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen.
